Geiranger is situated at the end of a very beautiful, long fjord. We spent the morning sailing the fjord and enjoying the scenery. Very similar to other fjords we have sailed in New Zealand and Alaska as well as much of the scenery we saw in Canada, this fjord, nonetheless,is just as magical.
We took a tour to view the fjord from above and the weather was on our side, giving us the spectacular views we had come to see.




A marvel of engineering now allows ships to ‘dock’ instead of tendering passengers to shore

Yes, there really are trolls in Norway. This was a particularly large specimen, welcoming everyone to the town.
