Legend of the Seas–May 4, 2014–Flam, Norway

Pronounced Flom, this small hamlet is the location of one of the world’s engineering marvels, the railway.Up early enough for some early .sunrise shots, we slowly sailed into the first of the fjords on this cruise. We had the train journey booked in the middle of the day so we took some time to wander around the village. The train journey is not unlike many other such rail journeys. Taking us high up the mountain with magnificent views of the surrounding valley we pass through
The day ended with a beautiful sunset as we took the return journey through the Songefjord
