Cruise day 2

Nothing much to say about this day. Sleep in, sit around reading, had some food, met other passengers at the welcome party, watched Captain Rick Sullivan introduce the senior members of the crew. Usual stuff. Oh the cruising life!!

The highlight was probably the evening show with Paul Boland a talented singer impersonator. He was also pretty funny. He had fun when he called for a child to volunteer to come up on stage and he was surrounded by about ten of them!!

He sang the Kermit 'Rainbow' song and moved between the children who reacted to what he was doing. The children, needless to say, show stole the show being put in the spotlight like that, but Paul handled it all so smoothly. It was side side-splittingly funny.

The shows on the cruise ships are usually very entertaining but this was one to remember.

Sunset after the show was unusual as we had been experiencing some very foggy weather. It was quite a sight seeing a small 'hole' in the fog and seeing the setting sun creating a pool of gold sinking into the sea.

Seas were still fairly rough and the ship was causing a lot of spray up the side, not to mention some fun walking about the ship. No we hadn't had too much to drink!!!!
